Hormozgan Water and Wastewater Company was registered in March of 1970 with an initial capital of 100 million Rials including 100 ordinary registered shares, 35% of which was paid in cash and the rest of it is in its share commitments as follows:
- Municipalities 49%
- Iran Water and Wastewater Engineering Company 47 percent
- Satkap Investment Company 4 percent
This company started its practical activity from July 1971.
- Based on Article 1 of the Law on the Formation of Water and Sewerage Companies approved on 10/11/1369, a company was formed under the name of Hormozgan Province Water and Sewerage Company.
Subject and purpose of the company: establishment of urban water distribution and distribution facilities and facilities related to collection. The transfer and treatment of sewage, as well as the operation of the facilities for supplying and dividing and distributing city water and the facilities related to the collection, transfer and treatment of sewage, as described below, were entrusted to the company.
A- Operation of facilities related to the supply and distribution of city water after the catchment, such as treatment plants, pumping stations, transmission lines, sources. the wells Control systems and distribution networks.
b-Operation of the collection and transfer networks of sewage and treatment houses and related pumping stations.
C - Implementation of urban water distribution networks
D- Implementation of wastewater supply and transfer and treatment plans
E- Implementation of water supply and transfer plans according to note (3) of article (1) of the above law.
f- Investing and participating in institutions and companies that are related to the goals and tasks of the company in order to improve the quality and quantity of the company's activities.
G- Carrying out educational research in line with the goals of the company and in coordination with the planning of the country's water and sewage engineering company.
H- Formation of new companies based on note (2) of article (1) of the above law.
Company headquarters: The main headquarters of the company is Bandar Abbas and its service area is the legal area of the cities of Hormozgan province.
The company can establish branches or representatives or support offices in the cities and regions of its field of activity with the approval of the General Assembly.
The facilities related to the company's activity can be located outside the cities.
- The company has a legal personality and financial independence, and its affairs will be managed according to the law on the formation of water and sewage companies and the provisions of this statute.
